Tools Taken In Sheldon Garage Burglary

Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon Police are investigating the burglary of a garage on 7th Avenue in Sheldon, that was reported earlier this week.

Police say that sometime between August 6th and August 14th, someone entered a residential garage, and made off with several hand and power tools, valued at about $230.  The stolen property is descriebd as a Dewalt driver set, Stanley tool set, Black & Decker circular saw, Black & Decker jigsaw, Hyper-Tough electric drill, as well as various wrenches, sockets and hammers.

Authorities say the incident remains under investigation.
