Sheldon, Iowa — Some new housing options in Sheldon would work great for people new to the community, college students, and more. A ribbon-cutting was held on Friday morning for some new apartments on the west side of Sheldon.

The apartments are being offered by a company called Tri-Leasing.

At the ribbon-cutting, Barry Whitsell spoke on behalf of the Sheldon Chamber & Development Corporation.

Trista Kavanagh spoke on behalf of the city of Sheldon.

KIWA’s own Skip Tanner spoke on behalf of the Sheldon Ambassadors.

Owners Troy and Travis Klein and Phil Louters are offering apartments initially in an 8-studio apartment complex. Troy Klein tells us a little about them.

He tells us things have gone very well already.

Klein says the second building of eight is hoped to open just to the west of the first building.

Klein says you can call him if you’re interested in an application or a tour of one of the units at 712-348-4259.
