Fairview, S.D. — A Rock Valley man was taken to the hospital after a single‑vehicle crash west of Fairview early Sunday morning.
According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called about 6:10 a.m. on May 3rd to a crash on 290th Street, about two miles west of Fairview.
Investigators say 21‑year‑old Saudin Garcia Molina of Rock Valley was driving a 2015 Hyundai Sonata eastbound when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle, which entered the south ditch.
The Canton-Inwood Ambulance took Garcia Molina to Sanford Canton‑Inwood Medical Center.
The Hyundai sustained an estimated $9,000 in damage.
They tell us the crash remains under investigation.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says the Fairview Fire Department, Canton-Inwood Ambulance, and the Iowa State Patrol assisted them with the response to the crash.
