The Sheldon Public Library is hosting Senior Environmental Learning and Fellowship (SELF) on Thursday, March 26 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Seniors can join O’Brien County Naturalist Kylie Holdorf for a 45‑minute presentation on butterflies and moths. Coffee and treats are provided. Village Northwest Unlimited in Sheldon will host the Northwestern College Symphonic Band for a free public concert on Thursday, March 26 at 10:00 a.m. The band’s touring program features music of encouragement, reflection, and joy across a variety of styles and eras. Selections include Vincent Persichetti’s Pageant, Karl King’s The Trombone King, Rossano Galante’s Nostalgia, and familiar hymn settings such as William Himes’ arrangement of Amazing Grace.
