Matlock, Iowa — A Sheldon man was taken to the hospital after an ATV accident near Matlock on Thursday.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that just after 4:30 p.m., 27-year-old Nathanial Van Gorp of Sheldon was driving a 2015 Honda 500 ATV westbound in the east ditch of Lily Avenue, two miles east of Matlock, when he lost control of the vehicle and it rolled.
The Sheldon Community Ambulance Team took Van Gorp to Sanford Sheldon Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The ATV was not damaged.
