Rock Rapids, Iowa — A Spencer man has been arrested on felony drug charges in Lyon County.
According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, one of their deputies arrested 39-year-old Michael Menard Jr. of Spencer on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
The sheriff’s office says Menard was charged with driving while license suspended, driving while license barred, operating while intoxicated, interference with official acts, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) third or subsequent offense, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) second or subsequent offense, and drug tax stamp violation.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says K9 Rizzo and the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation assisted them with the arrest.
