Sheldon Woman’s Vehicle Damaged After Deer Accident

deer_sxcHawarden, Iowa — A Sheldon woman hit a deer near Hawarden on Wednesday, November 18th.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 6:37 am, 23-year-old Alesha Provost of Sheldon was driving a 2008 Ford Escape northbound on Birch Avenue, three miles north of Hawarden. According to the report, Provost struck a deer on the roadway.

The Ford received $4000 damage.

No injuries were reported.
